Why is there a white silicone lock inside the kettle? The silicone lock is designed to detect the water temperature. When the water boils, the silicone senses the water vapor and triggers the auto-shut off switch. Made of food-grade silicone, it is safe for use.
Why does the bottom rust? Rust is typically caused by food residue remaining in the kettle for an extended period, which can corrode the interior and damage the protective layer on the stainless steel surface. To prevent this, please dry and descale the kettle at least once a week.
Why does the kettle leak? Leakage is often caused by overfilling the water. Please ensure not to exceed the "MAX LINE" marked on the interior of the kettle.
What does "100% Stainless Steel" mean? The reason our kettles cannot attract magnets is that the stainless steel used contains low levels of iron and nickel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance. The stainless properties of the steel are primarily derived from the chromium metal.
